WES SEYLLER
We completed a very successful 2004 season, but suffered a real loss as our long time commissioner Mr. Wes Seyller resigned after many years of great leadership for the NSYFL. He has agreed to remain
on the board and direct his efforts toward a good relationship with the various governments of city and county entities that we have to deal with on a year to year basis.
Under his leadership the league grew from a dozen teams to 47 last year with the creation of our flag league. Wes donated many hours of his time, the use of his business facilities, and many dollars of his own in helping not only the league but many teams that were in dire need of assistance. He weathered many irate calls from parents, coaches, and officials even frivolous lawsuits, but never wavered from his goal of doing what was best for the league.
We will miss his input on the day to day matters but are pleased that he will continue to help guide and direct the league with the relationships of the various city governments.
Wes, from everyone associated with the NSYFL we all say "Thank You" for all your help and guidance.
DAVID CLEVENGER
For over 25 years Dave Clevenger has been a fixture in the North Suburban Youth Football League, as a coach, board member and vice-commissioner.
He has prepared all the paperwork that is needed by every team, made up all the schedules for A & B games, scheduled weigh-ins, meetings, clinics, playoffs and Super Bowl.
Every player's paperwork goes through him and he follows up on all mistakes or shortages. He has tutored many coaches, new and old, on getting in proper paperwork, how to handle parents, players, officials, and the parks department.
In addition to all the paperwork, phone calls and problems he handles, he manages to find time to attend several games each Saturday. His many hours of devotion to this league are unmatched, and his concern for every player's well being is his greatest attribute.
SAM ROBLES
For over 30 years Mr. Sam Robles has served the North Suburban Youth Football League with countless
hours of time, energy and dedication. As Treasurer of the league, he has kept things financially stable and above reproach. Everyone associated
with the NSYFL, the board, coaches, players, parents, and fans all appreciate Mr. Robles contributions and hope he will continue to provide the league with his efforts for many more years to come.
