The North Suburban Youth Football League (NSYFL) is a competitive football league located in the Northland of Kanasas City, Missouri. The league is open to players throughout the city, however games are played primarily in the Northland in either Clay or Platte counties. The league's history dates back over 40 years and continues to produce some of the finest talent in the Kansas City area each year.
The league is comprised of football clubs called ORGANIZATIONS which have teams competing in the different divisions of the league. The league is made up of three 3 divisions: 3rd & 4th Grade, 5th & 6th Grade,
and 7th & 8th Grade. Although the league is grade based it is not affiliated with schools or are teams confined to recruiting players from one area. This offers players a chance to play on the teams they want despite where they live or what school they attend.
WHAT MAKES THE NSYFL DIFFERENT?
Each team will have approximately 8 "A" (Varsity) Games and 6 or 7 "B" (Junior Varsity) games. "A" games are held on Saturday and the "B" games on one of the following Monday thru Thursday Nights.
All players dress for and may participate in the "A" games. The "B" game is held for the players who did not get much playing time in the "A" game. This insures plenty of playing time for all players and allows the younger players to have a chance to develop and become competitive faster.
